Gwynn reached 3000 hits with San Diego. |

Nothing to do in Huntington, WV? The blizzard were in town during my
visit so I saw the game (free ticket from the Holiday Inn). The minor
league hockey game was good, and the mascot did some wild stunts but
sadly the franchise folded the following year. |

Asheville is a beautiful city with a pretty ballpark nestled in a
hillside overlooking town. The weather was great, the beer was cheap,
the game was fun, and this old teddy bear met us. |
