You Don't
How do you talk to a deaf man?
How do you touch a ghost?
How do you warm the north wind?
How do you embrace a shadow?
How do you comfort a siren?
How do you pet a cobra?
How do you return a favor, when no favor was done?
How do you reciprocate kind thoughts, when no such thoughts are given?
How do you speak when spoken to, in deafening silence?
How do you explain yourself to a dial-tone?
How do you aid a proud cripple?
How do you teach one who knows?
How do you reach one who wants to be left alone from you?
The answer is suddenly obvious: You Don't!

My Support Network
When I tell you of my success,
you tell me what problems they cause you.
When I tell you of my success,
you tell me you can't comprehend it.
When I tell you of my success,
you tell me I could have done better (your way).
When I tell you of my success,
you tell me that yours were bigger (and more difficult).
When I tell you of my success,
you tell me I actually failed.
Did I succeed?
Where are my cheering crowds?

Proof!
When I share my notions, that proves it
(I'm shamelessly self-centered).
When I share my idealism, that proves it.
(I'm hopelessly immature)
When I share my priorities, that proves it.
(I'm a total failure).
When I share my expectations, that proves it.
(I'm have no sense of proportion).
When I share my rigid dedication, that proves it.
(I'm as stupid as stupid can be).
When I share mindless courtesy, that proves it
(I'm a criminal mastermind bent on subversion).
When I share my hopes for reconciliation, that proves it
(I'm a demented liar).
When I share my frustration, that proves it
(I'm am totally unpredictable, capable of any evil imaginable).
When I share my hopelessness, that proves it
(I'm am the one who brought this upon myself)
When I spend my leisure elsewhere, thats fine (who need you!)
When I give my affection elsewhere, thats fine (you're worthless!)
When I share my joys elsewhere, thats fine (you're lying!)
How could I have turned out so evil?
(The proof is right there in front of your face.)

Who Said Life is Fair?
I lay bare my life experiences, and they are scorned.
I lay bare my ideas, and they are scorned.
I lay bare my fears, and they are scorned.
I lay bare my desires, and they are scorned.
I lay bare my successes, and they are scorned.
I lay bare my pain & grief, and they are scorned.
I reciprocate with my scorn, and I am vilified.
Somedays you just can't win.

The Invisible Man
I want you to want me.
I need you to need me.
I long to be longed for.
I dream of being dreamed of.
But when you want me, you want me to follow orders.
And when you need me, you need me to cast my eyes down.
And when you long for me, you long for me to learn my place.
And when you dream of me, you dream of someone I never was.

How do you say 'good-bye'
How do you say 'good-bye'
to somebody who does not talk to you?
to somebody that hangs up before you can speak?
to somebody that does not hear you?
to somebody that already left?
to somebody that never was?
IT IS SO OBVIOUS
How come I cannot not see the obvious?
