Sorry, no pictures this year.
Dave was in Pittsburgh for the week, and on Halloween night he went
to see a local showing of the classic silent horror film
"Nosferatu". Jesse was sick, but at almost six foot tall,
he was getting to be a little big for trick-or-treating. And with
Thomas moved back to New Jersey, it would hardly be any fun for him anyway.
Jesse had planned all year to glue a piece of metal to the top of a
construction hard-hat and go out as the guy in the
"Krazy-Glue" commercial, and someday he may still get to
use that clever costume idea.
So while our family continues to celebrate and enjoy Halloween, it is
now with Jesse as a grown-up and not with the magic of him being a
kid. So this is to be our last Halloween installment. Alas, in life
all things must pass. |
