We took turns each year hiding and finding. Looks like Dave made the
effort to wake up early here. Dying special eggs was a full fledged
tradition for us, and something we enjoyed sharing with our nearby families.
Lyn had recently joined TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), and was just
chosen as the local chapter's leader. Dave was finishing up some
classes in night school, and would join and become 'weight recorder'
within a few months.
The entire kitchen was originally painted the high-gloss enamel
mustard yellow you can see on the cupboards (but we bought the house
anyway). Lyn figured out to paint the large walls an eggshell pastel
shade (and the mustard hue instantly became a perfect "trim"
