Just twelve short hours later, Jesse arrived on the scene. Here is Jesse, just hours old. Note the pattern from the window in the hospital nursury. Poor baby! Here is baby Jesse, about two days old and all recovered from the difficult delivery. He is sleeping soundly still in the hospital nursury, very near checking out to go home. His jaundice had not yet appeared and it was another week or two before the cholic started. This was a time of quiet joy, as his new parents had no idea what was coming. He was supposed to "time the contractions" and when he was done, the pages went into our all-inclusive "memory box".
