At age four, Jesse had become a cult follower of Spiderman. It was no
suprise when he announced his intended costume. It easily fit our
requirement to not be ghoulish or anything to do with a "fright
night" theme.
Dave enjoyed taking his father role a step beyond just chaparoning,
and easily agreed with Jesse's expectation that 'you can be the bad
guy'. The pillowcase with the giant dollar sign and "National
Bank" doubled as the candy bag. Look closely and you can see the
'trick' this year (just in case anyone asked to see one). Stuffed in
his sleeve is a can of silly string / spiderman web. His hands were
just a tad too small to really let it rip (this year). |
