We have no pictures from this Easter, and cannot remember if we
celebrated it much at all. Dave had been laid off in February from
Lou Wright / Integral, and the 'good' car had its oil pump fail and
take out the main crankshaft costing us money we didn't have. Dave
was toying around with a few contract programming jobs and making 20
telephone calls per day with client contacts and recruiters. But no
job was forthcoming.
We can't remember exactly what we did, but logically Lyn's mom would
have put on a celebration as Jesse was four and she so enjoyed
activities with her grandchildren. We were active in our church so we
probably attended there, but this entire twelve month period (from
February 1992 layoff to February 1992 relocation to Utah) tends to be
a blur, filled with "make the best of it" memories. |
