Plymouth Notch Cemetery

Return to:

President Coolidge is buried in Plymouth Notch Cemetery, a mile or two from the complex that includes
his home and museum. He was there when he learned of President Harding's death and took the
oath of office from his father, a justice of the peace in Plymouth.

The cemetery is unusually shaped and located
directly upon a rather busy road (10/86)

The immense headstone includes a relief
of the Presidential seal (10/86)

Beautiful fall colors greeted us on our visit
to rural Vermont (10/86)

The family cemetery was beautiful in fall (10/86)

Presidential Museum and Home (10/86)

The home where President Coolidge learned of Harding's death and took the oath of office. His father was a justice of the peace. (10/86)
