Jefferson is buried in a family cemetery on the ground of his famous
residence. I visited Monticello three times. Once by myself during my
trip to Washington, DC and Richmond. I returned on a family
vacation. Finally, I travelled to Charlottesville on a business
trip, when I also drove to the Appomattox courthouse. |
